MindShift Wellness is provided by Zain Ul Abideen. This Privacy Policy explains how MindShift Wellness collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the iOS app, website, support channels, and related services.

What We Collect

We collect only the information needed to run the app, protect your account, improve reliability, and provide subscription features.

✓Account information: name, email address, login identifiers, profile settings, verification status, and authentication tokens.
✓Recovery and habit data: selected focus area, onboarding answers, goals, streaks, daily check-ins, progress, relapse or urge logs, and plan preferences.
✓Journal and reflection data: journal titles, notes, prompts, mood, triggers, optional images, and other content you choose to save.
✓Spending and analytics data: spending estimates, savings progress, daily logs, and app-generated progress summaries.
✓Blocking preferences: websites you add for blocking, blocker settings, and related recovery preferences. Apple Screen Time and FamilyControls data may also be used on device to enable app and site restrictions.
✓Subscription data: RevenueCat and Apple subscription status, product identifiers, transaction state, entitlement status, renewal status, and restore results. We do not receive your full payment card details.
✓Device, analytics, and diagnostics: app version, device type, operating system, crash logs, usage events, performance information, and push notification tokens through Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, and Cloud Messaging.
✓AI Coach messages: messages, prompts, and related context you submit may be processed to generate coach responses.
✓Support communications: emails, requests, screenshots, and account details you share when contacting support.

How We Use Information

We use information to create and secure your account, sync your data, provide habit recovery tools, personalize plans, display progress, manage subscriptions, restore purchases, send notifications, respond to support requests, detect abuse, fix bugs, improve reliability, and comply with legal obligations.

Subscriptions and Purchases

MindShift Wellness Pro is managed through Apple and RevenueCat. Subscription purchases, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and billing are handled by Apple through your App Store account. RevenueCat helps us verify subscription status, activate entitlements, restore purchases, and receive subscription lifecycle events.

Third-Party Services

We use trusted service providers to operate the app and website. These may include Apple App Store services, RevenueCat, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Cloud Messaging, backend hosting providers, and AI service providers used to generate AI Coach responses. These providers process information according to their own terms and privacy policies.

AI Coach and Wellness Disclaimer

MindShift Wellness is designed for habit tracking, reflection, accountability, and self-improvement. It is not medical care, therapy, diagnosis, emergency support, or professional advice. Do not use the app as a substitute for a qualified healthcare professional. If you may harm yourself or someone else, or you are experiencing an emergency, contact local emergency services immediately.

Do not enter highly sensitive medical, legal, financial, or emergency information into AI Coach. AI responses may be incomplete or incorrect and should be reviewed with your own judgment.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information with service providers that help us operate the app, process subscriptions, provide analytics, send notifications, host data, investigate security issues, comply with law, protect rights and safety, or complete a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition.

Retention and Deletion

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain account history, meet legal requirements, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and keep backups. You can delete many items inside the app. You can also request account deletion by contacting support. When an account is deleted, we remove or anonymize account data unless we must keep limited records for legal, security, billing, backup, or fraud-prevention reasons.

Your Controls

You can update your profile, manage journals and app data, change notification permissions in iOS settings, manage subscriptions in your Apple App Store account, restore purchases in the app, and request access, correction, export, or deletion of your account data by contacting support.

Children

MindShift Wellness is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where required.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No app, website, or network can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so you should use a strong password and keep your device protected.

International Processing

Your information may be processed and stored in countries where we or our service providers operate. Privacy laws may differ from the laws in your location.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy as the app changes. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new last updated date.
